Hi from a Hard- and Softboot carver from Austria. Happy to connect and exchange experiences, I still need to learn despite having carved for a long time (mostly self-taught). Youtube videos have helped me progress a lot and fix some deeply rooted mistakes I've been making, but would love some exchange about boards, technique, ...

where are you based?

Only a snowboarder knows this feeling. And once you've felt it for yourself, it's impossible not to want more. It's so addictive that it should be illegal, but it's not and that's why they make such good snowboards that after riding them you want to sell everything and move to the mountains, because a man has to have a balance in his life, and that balance should be 80% snowboarding and 20% working.

Hello, I do not know where Harald is based, but I am around Villach, soft-boot carving mostly at the Gerlitzen 😉

nice. And Gerlitzen is also nice, but too far for me. 🙃

Hi there!

Where do you actually prefer to ride? I'm thinking about Zillertal (tux, mayrhofen) and Schladming for the upcoming season, but I'm afraid that they are too crowded. Any better suggestions?

Maybe some of you know camps/events/good boarding schools to learn the proper technique. Surely, there are lots of self-taught carvers, like myself,  who also might be interested in such events.

Myself: beginner level carver, deu based
