This is a very special carving event which takes place at Turner Mountain near Libby Montana every winter. Me ands 99 of my best friends rent out the entire mountain for four days midweek. We bring snowcats and operators from out of state, sponsors bring demo boards and top carving instructors give free clinics. Board swaps, beers and bonfires, many many trenches are carved into perfect groom.
There are only 100 tickets available... Check out montuckyclearcut.com to notified as soon as the 2025 registration opens!
(This event started as hard boot focused, but 40% of the registrants for 2024 were soft boot carvers. There's potential to run a sister event in 2025 the week before or after but we will need people to organize it and handle all the details. Interested? Post below, maybe we can put together a team.)

How much are the tickets? I looked at the website and there's only "coming soon" in the shop. A ballpark would be okay too.

Registration is now open for The Montucky Clear Cut 2025!
The event runs February 3rd through 6th 2025 at Turner Mountain in Libby Montana. We basically rent out the entire mountain for a week, we bring in outside grooming machines and operators, elite level instructors, demo boards and kegs. This is the biggest snowboard carving event on the continent, if you're reading this, you belong there!
CarversConnection is sponsoring the event this year; I'll be there with some demo gear and I'll be teaching a 3 hour clinic too. Admission includes 4 lift tickets and all access to the events, demos, games, clinics and parties (except the final banquet).
Participation is limited to 90 riders this time. Last year it sold out so if you're considering it, book soon. This is usually the highlight of my winter, it's not to be missed.
