My double wide just showed up in the mail. I ordered a medium flex. And it's as stiff as, if not stiffer than a 10/10 stiffness production board. Can't wait to ride it in the morning. Will follow up.

@keithdobberpuhl I got a mid stiff DoubleWide as well and found it way softer than expected.  This isn't stiff, if you want stiff I'll show you stiff...

Just kidding.  Longitudinally, this board is softer than the JJA C4 soft flex; torsionally it's way stiffer than the C4 though.  The next batch will be slightly stiffer longitudinally and softer torsionally.

It's not too stiff, don't sweat it.  I've been saying for years that production "carving" boards are way too soft so comparisons are not appropriate.

Ride it!  let us know how it goes.

I'm just slaying...

I've ridden it twice so far. Tried one day with 15 -9 stance angles. And quickly learned, you can't ride this board duck stance. Note I've only ridden pos pos stance once before purchasing this board. it was a lot of fun. But I found that after riding for a little while, it caused joint pain in my ankles, knees, and hips. I noticed the same thing with trying pos pos on the double wide. But it's obviously a setup issue, and that It requires different muscle groups that may not be toned well enough yet. Im gonna have to tinker around. But it holds an edge like nothing I've ridden so far. It was a lot of fun to ride. Im excited to get it set up right and get into pos pos carving. I'm starting a habbit of starting each day on groomers with this board. I will follow up soon.

Right on!

What does your current setup look like?  Angles, stance width, bindings, boots?  Forward lean?

You have a set of the Butterfly Wing BX Riser right?  They feel good on this board.  You may not need the extra clearance but the added leverage will take some pressure of the feet and ankles.

I'm just slaying...

@keithdobberpuhl Don't hesitate to tweak the splay between bindings too. I find I get pain just above my ankle if my rear binding has too much angle. I need at minimum good 20 degrees between my feet as my natural stance just standing up is almost 90°.
