Carving advice needed!
@wild-cherry . Finally able to get a video of me carving this season. Definitely an improvement from last season. my big issue right now is on heel side. Not sure if its not enough rotation vs enough crunch vs foot pressure shift or what. This wasn't on the Jasey Jay board since I was in japan for this video unfortunately and the video is kind of really far so might be a bit tough to analyze, sorry!
Binding angles on this rental was 27 / 18 posy pos 54 cm stance
All advice is welcomed! drop themmm.

I bet you could pick up the first thing I see you need to work on from reewatching JC's videos, as to where you should be reaching, Id suggest work on the tray drill. I've always reached for my lifted edge heal side for the front edge between my fee and toe side twist and reach for the heel side edge.
I don’t make mistakes, only discoveries.

Rental!!! No wonder... Where's the JJA SPW???
Just kidding. You're looking good.
Hard to analyze this video, you're all in black and so far away, and there's only four turns. But here are a few things to work on:
1. Go faster. This is flat terrain, even on a rental you can up the speed and create more g force and lean.
2. Drive with your hips into the heelside turn. Your hand is close to the front knee but it's coming across your torso to get there. Use the hips instead to get it there. Looks to me that your hips are facing the toe edge on heelside, a very common mistake. Get them to face in line with your front foot or even with the nose of the board on steeps.
3. On toeside, exaggerate the lifting of the back hand. You're reaching down for the snow, reach up with the hand and down with the knees, stretching through the rear obliques to get a high edge angle while keeping the shoulders level.
4. Try to angulate the board even higher, practice the J-Turn, work on finding the Heelside Position and the Toeside Position as demonstrated in the J-Turn video. Once you attain the position, find patience there and let the board come around.

This is an excellent cue to remind riders to keep the shoulders level! I might have to steal it...
Thanks @highliner!
I'm just slaying...
@highliner thanks for the cue! will try that next time!
@wild-cherry I know! I wish I could've brought it. Next time I will be on the SPW! Will rewatch the videos and try this out.
Cheers everyone!
