This is way better! I presume this is not you riding...
Look at his back hand position and compare it with yours. Notice how his hand swings into the turn on heelside? I wouldn't necessarily say he's leading his board into the turn with the hand, but rather he's leading into the turn by rotating with his hips and the hand is following this rotation. But it looks like he's leading into the turn with the back hand and this movement is easy to see and instructive. Try it!
