Look at his back hand position and compare it with yours.  Notice how his hand swings into the turn on heelside?  I wouldn't necessarily say he's leading his board into the turn with the hand, but rather he's leading into the turn by rotating with his hips and the hand is following this rotation.  But it looks like he's leading into the turn with the back hand and this movement is easy to see and instructive.  Try it!

Where is this community of yours?  Russia?  Those Russian extremecarvers are very impressive.  I rode with Andrey last season, @bfreeap on YouTube.  He even brought me some of your Obereg mittens.  Fantastic, the first pair of mittens ever to last me a whole season!  Awesome.
