As many of us mod our boots, I have been testing a new strap from Phaenom/Faction.  It will be available next season.

It is wider than the booster strap and made of a similar material to the voile strap.

Being wider than the booster, it gives me more support.  Being stretchier, it is harder to get really tight.

Is this a product people might be interested in?  Looking for some feedback.

Boa's are always a problem with straps. It'd be cool to have a strap that somehow had cutouts to go around the boa knobs.

Hey @marc-dean, welcome to the forum!

That strap looks pretty cool, That would look great on my boots!

Without testing it I can't say anything about the performance.  I've used ski straps like your orange Voile and the World Cup Booster also.  The Voile style is too light and thin, and way too stretchy.  I have to guess the Phaenom is also stretchy because of the way it fastens.  The width looks about right.

Boosters are easy to get really tight and even though they have an elastic it's very stiff (at least in the World Cup version).

My go to is a set of Dynafit 25mm velcro straps that I took off my split board boots.  No stretch, easy to tighten, wider than the Booster.   I use one velcro and one Booster on each boot.  Both of these are high quality and I'm at 400+ days on both sets and going strong.

We'll have something in the store for fall.  Trying to get the Dynafit replicated in China with our logo.

I'm just slaying...

@board-doctor I was going to cut holes in the ladder side to see if it would fit around my boa strap, but I was using them for teaching and did not want to ruin them.  I do like this strap better than the booster, the extra width made it feel more supportive than the booster.
