Quick question: for folks with dual or even triple BOA's where do you place your straps? With my Lasso Pro Wides and I can only fit one set of straps per boot (between the two BOA knobs).

...

Also, what is your SOP for tightening the boots? Do you crank the BOAS first, then crank the straps and then alternate?

I also have the Lasso Pros and I have played around a little with different configurations to see what works, so far the one I found works best is the following:

  1. Tighten the instep boa
  2. Tighten the overall boa a little bit
  3. Put a strap around the shaft, sorta around the middle of it. I tighten it as much as possible.
  4. If necessary tighten the overall boa a little more if there's too much slop, or I also try to pull apart the toe box to make it wider.
  5. Twist the tongue to the opposite side that I will have the velcro on
  6. Pass the strap through the loop on the back of the boot then run it over the boas and tighten to your desired tightness. I can tighten this strap a lot, but I try to not cut off circulation too much. The more you tighten the more you will twist the tongue in the direction where you have the velcro, so be wary of overtwisting the tongue.
  7. Loosen the bottom strap a little bit to relieve some pressure around the ankle bones and the fibula (the bone on the outside of your lower legs)
  8. Happy riding!

I have also tried passing the top strap through the loop and over the top front boa, that's the most comfortable and easiest to make comfortable as you lace up, but the top strap tends to work itself up off the boot. When putting the strap over the boa it sometimes drops below the boa, sometimes above, but I've never had it come off completely.

They have 3 pairs of Medium 3K left @board-doctor

My small 3K flex boosters arrived.  I was surprised by how small they are.  I wouldn't bother with the 1K or 2K variants given the size, go straight to 3K.  I'll be trying them out tomorrow.

EDIT - trying to add pic but uploads failing @wild-cherry

Late to the game, but I’ve tried the medium/medium size/flex winged and non-winged powerrides

Lateral support for the winged has been fantastic, enough that I have not gone back to the other. I like that the wings have a bit of foam built on the side to mitigate the pressure point.

The hard flex version of the winged were sold out. That being said, I’m already in performance fit boot, and I get a bit of a pressure point on my back foot with medium flex so I don’t think I would go up in stiffness or double up.
