Last week I was out with a snowboard coach who sells Swoard and is in contact with the owner of UPZ.

UPZ will soon no longer exist. The owner wants to retire and there is no successor.

If anyone still needs anything from UPZ, they should go shopping.

Ah, I would suggest not spreading rumors.  I have very different information to the contrary.

Stay tuned for updates.

Thanks, @slabber, you are correct.  About this same time last year, someone posted on a different forum that UPZ was no more.  We just got back from demo mania in and introduced a ton of people to hard shell snowboarding.  Super cool people, riding high performance alpine boards, plate bindings and UPZ hard shell boots for the first time.  If you’re in the Park City area, or snowboarding at Brighton, give us a call for a demo.

From another Hardboot Carving Community.

For the UPZ boot riders/lovers
====================================================
Dear UPZ riders!

UPZ boot production for 25/26 WILL NOT be delayed or stopped for one year.
Due to a misunderstanding regarding model offerings, timing of production and delivery,
the previous notification of a deferred production for next year is incorrect.

UPZ boot production for 25/26 will continue with models, colors,
and important updates being discussed at this time.

It is true that ownership may change,
with new partners currently in negotiation for the future of UPZ,
but in no way will this affect production at this time or for the following year.

UPZ values your support and appreciates your patronage.
We look forward to a stronger future and continued production.

Wolfgang Aigner
CEO and OWNER
AITEC GmbH / UPZ Boots

@upz_hard_shell_boots    Chris!  You found us!

Let's get some of those Flo Liners into the store for next season.  People need these!  Call me.

I'm just slaying...

@wild-cherry Hello James,
I watched your new video on the 5 softboot bindings.
Maybe you can connect with UPZ.

This is from another carving community.

Excellent news. I have already wished Wolfgang all the best for the negotiations and expressed our pleasure at the continuation of UPZ.
I think more people could do that, because it shows a new investor that it makes sense to continue UPZ and we need that.

@upz_hard_shell_boots I’ll be in park City this week. I would love to demo some hard boot rides.

I don’t make mistakes, only discoveries.
