Not sure on MCC yet. And I’m not ruling out a trip to Revy either. But if you make it to anywhere in Utah, I will absolutely be there! And who knows, maybe I could help you work on that instructing dream by hiring you to show me a thing or two in Park City.

Hi James,

Do you have any more info on the expected time of shipping for the first batch of C4s? Looking out at the mountains here in Norway, they have turned white at the top, so the start of the season is not far away, and I'm really looking forward to ride the JJA C4!

Yes I do...

Word is that the first batch of ten boards will go out before the end of October with the next batches right after.

Jasey did some major re-tooling of his factory this summer and he wanted to work out any kinks on some other boards to make sure that the C4s come out perfect.  So it's later than we were all hoping and anticipating, but it's happening now and the result will be worth the wait.

Thanks for your patience.

@wild-cherry Thanks for the update! As long as the board is in before the snow arrives I guess it doesn't change anything, really... But the hype is real and I'm looking forwards to feeling it in person!

How heavy is the C4 again? Didn't see a weight listed under additional information like on the Exegi Doublewide store page. Thanks!

Not sure about either weight and I don't have an accurate scale.  The weight listed for the DoubleWide was just an estimate as packaged to calculate shipping.  The C4 is certainly noticeably heavier with the metal layers.  Maybe 20% heavier?  I'm guessing.

@wild-cherry I count 15 boards... Is that in order of when they were ordered, or does he build them by "options" batches? (The latter probably makes a lot more sense...) Should I expect an email if my board is one of them in this picture?

@emilecantin Most of the first batch are the soft flex, yours is not among them, sorry.  Thanks for your patience.  The next batch is coming very soon, more boards are getting pressed every day this week.

Whelp seems like I missed the boat on these.

Exactly what I need to compliment my Winterstick Daydreamer ( https://www.winterstick.com/products/day-dreamer-snowboard). Despite the slightly powder board shape, I bought it as a mid wide carving board which is does wonderfully. Relatively soft flex is appreciated for our variable conditions at sugarloaf Maine. But when the snow is right I really want a proper carving rig.

Any chance there is a spare medium flex ESG that JJ could slap together?

I wish!  These are in very high demand.  I have about eight guys from this forum on a priority waitlist and over 100 on the regular waitlist.   I would love to add you to the priority list but I had to close it off a few months ago to make sure I had at least a few boards to offer to the regular waitlist...

There will be another batch announced around Christmas, if you go to the order page and click "notify me" you'll find out as soon as the boards are available.

In the meantime,  check out the Exegi DoubleWide in the store.  There are four of these left, they're cheaper than the C4s and available now.  Don't miss out on these too!
