Has anyone else transitioned back to lace up boots from Boas? I am finding that my boots (Ride Deadbolts) just don't stay tight and if it weren't for the built in power strap, they would be loose all the time. The Boa dials work fine and there is no sign of wear to the dial or cables. If I could have the same boot stiffness (7 or 8/10) in lace up I would be pretty satisfied. Possible choices- 32 TM-2, Nitro Team Lace, Nidecker Kita hybrid (Boas for heel hold down), Vans Invado Pro. Thoughts?

My $.02, I’ve been on Driver Xs for 48 days this season and really dig their lace up design. No slips. Liners aren’t packed out yet, heels stay where I put them.
And the shell is still pretty stiff.
My plan for next season is to change the liners to new intuitions (pending the shells holding up).
