Anybody familiar with the OES FR 165W snowboard?

Got an example for possible bying.

OES is a second tier brand.  Probably a decent board, likely better than any Donek or other available production boards, but it's not in the realm of the wide titanal freecarvers like the JJA C4.

 

Rumour is there will be another batch of C4s available for purchase later this summer.  Get on the waiting list in the store if you haven't already.  If you don't have the budget for a C4, the OES is a decent board for the price and appropriate for easy carving.

 

Caveat: I've never ridden an OES.  My opinion is based on the reviews of others who have ridden them, the price, and the construction (no titanal, no carbon).

I'm just slaying...

I am on the list of  a C4.

Will get the OES anyway and revert when tested.

The Korua Bullet Train has a layer of titanal and it’s less than that Kevlar version… only one size though:

I don’t think I’ve been on Kevlar since the 90’s, I guess it’s just too expensive now?
