@wildcherry I’ve used these boot stiffeners and straps for the past three riding sessions, once with my K2 Thaxis soft boots and twice with my Deeluxe Ground Control (hybrid) hard/soft boots. I’m happy to report that comfort was great and performance of the boots was markedly increased. As a result, I’ve had the best three days of carving in my life - thank you😎

Quick tip for the Trench boot stiffeners. Maybe, it is common sense but I wasn't sure until I tried this out. If you have a BOA that focuses on the instep like my Ride Pro Lasso Wides, slide the boot stiffener inside the instep BOA cords. This way when you crank down the BOAS, they are pulling the stiffener deeper into the boot for even more rigidity. Now, I have three settings for my stiffness: No insert (powder), insert outside the instep BOA cord (soft groomers) and insert inside the BOA instep cord plus Trench straps (corduroy/hard pack) . My two cents...

@kagurasnowsurfer This is SO helpful. I only started riding last season and my local shop started me on the Ride Lassos this season.  Once I got out there last week, I found myself messing w/ the boas after every run.  Mb I'm just a noob, but I couldn't get the upper tight w/o cutting off any feeling from the ankle down.  When I borrowed my friends boots last year, the double boa felt more precise to calibrate but ultimately those boots were way too soft for my liking.  I'll give the strap and stiffeners a try.  If you have any other tips on these Lassos, I'm all ears.  Just been on soft groomers so far and last few days I just don't tighten them very much so I can actually feel my toes after a run, but that just seems like a temp fix.  Was debating going to laces, but this looks promising..... cheers all.

Glad that I could be of some service. I definitely recommend the Trench stiffeners and straps. High quality goods! I only went for the Lasso Pro Wide boots because I could not find another boot that could handle my high arch 25.5 mondo EEE feet. So, I needed to find ways to make them stiffer. @wild-cherry was very helpful. I am looking into jamming some shin guards behind my calves for the heel side, which is a Ryan Knapton trick (though I am not willing to go as far as his Franken-bindings). One more modification would be to replace the stock Intuition liners that came with Ride boots with stiffer Intuition liners from their website.

Does anyone know how long it takes to process an order? I placed an order for the boot stiffener and the boot strap on Feb 3, 2025, today is Feb 12 and I haven't received any update regarding the order.

I have also tried emailing [email protected] for an update, but no response.

I placed order # 3569 on Feb 22 and today is March 3rd and I haven't received any update on the order despite sending inquiries to [email protected] resulting in no response.

Nothing I ordered at the time of order was shown to be backordered, pre-ordered or unavailable.

@jeffg Sorry about that.  Boxing your order right now!  Adding some extra product for you as well to make up for the wait.

I don't know how this one got missed, every other order has been shipped except the riser pre-orders.  Apologies again, this is all new to me and we don't have proper systems in place yet.  Next season everything will drop ship from warehouses.

@wild-cherry No worries, James.  All is well that ends well.  Very excited to put these to use.  Will report back after a day or two on the slopes.
