@shrekonboard yes but if the highback goes a little bit back, MAYBE the boot could also get e littile bit more towards heelside, and will be better positioniert.
About the Edge Pro whats your MP? and in which size you got them now?

It's so addictive that it should be illegal, but it's not and that's why they make such good snowboards that after riding them you want to sell everything and move to the mountains, because a man has to have a balance in his life, and that balance should be 80% snowboarding and 20% working.
@turms the displacement of the cable only affects the slope of the highback. There is no mixing of the highback back. therefore, the shoe does not move deeper into the mount.
@shrekonboard the MondoPoint of your feet. The shoes are 26.5
Your feet?

@shrekonboard you have to move together the Highback and the cable. Not only the cable position.

check out the photo. You have to move both : Highback and Cable, one position back. IF you see the boot is a little bit back in the second photo (on the right)
compare the heels in both photos

@turms The length of my foot is 26.0 cm. Thank you very much for the hint on how to move the highback!!!! even from your photos, I did not immediately find the holes for this. there is no such thing in the intsruction. Here's how it turned out:
Теперь ботинок расположен гораздо лучше. Но все равно у меня есть сомнения правильности размера крепления...
@shrekonboard the photos are not mine. But according to the photos i made the same with my bindings

@shrekonboard i think you are exactly in the mid between M and L bindings.
Probably you could use both, but to me looks pretty godd now.

@turms what do your shoes look like in the bindings? Can you attach a photo? Do you have a flow nx2 size m? Do you think I would feel comfortable riding with such boot overhangs?
@shrekonboard my boots are 27.5 MP, and i have the L bindings. I dont think that will help, because my boots are Adidas ADV , probably the smallest Boots in the market in the size 27.5 (or maybe together with the burtons) , that means that my boots looks small in the Bindings. I could make some photos when i find a little bit time.
Generally i think it looks ok. The boots are centered and they are not exceed too much. OK a couple mm less would be better, but i think you could board as they are. Definitely when the boots exceeed more than yours it is not the best. But as the are now i think they are really good.
PS If your feet are 26 MP, then you have to consider to have boots with 26 MP.

@turms Thank you for your opinion on my situation. I just need to make a decision: return the fasteners to the store or keep them for myself. I can't take a ride and feel it, they will lose their presentation.
my previous deeluxe edge was size 27. I bought the new ones 26.5. it seems to me that I don't remember 26.0. these fit snugly enough on the foot.
there is an option to replace the flow nx2 size M with a drake podium size L. This is what haunts me....
@shrekonboard ok this really difficult
I really do not know
