Much of my gear has been modified after experimentation.

Built and rode my own sliding axle isolation plate design in 2010.
In 2016 I developed a hand armour design to protect my hands after a crash led to a bad fracture of the index finger of my dominant hand. The result cushions my whole upper limb in crashes and falls. The armour also slides across the snow in the depths of the turn and protects my gloves from abrasion.
In 2018 I published a geometric approach to snowboard binding tweaking with lift and cant/tilt linked below.
